Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question before reaching out? You’re in the right place.
Below are the questions I hear most often from couples planning their wedding flowers.
If something isn’t covered here, I’d love to hear from you – get in touch here.
Pricing & Budget
How much will my wedding flowers cost ?
At FleursTouch, every floral proposal is custom-designed based on your vision, style, and budget. Once I learn about your wedding colors, favorite flowers, aesthetic, and event details, I build a personalized floral design plan and detailed quote just for you. Whether you have a clear inspiration or are still exploring ideas, this initial Proposal serves as the foundation upon which we’ll create something beautiful together that reflects your unique style and vision.
Do you have a minimum starting price?
No, we do not have a minimum floral investment requirement. We believe every celebration deserves thoughtful attention, regardless of its size or budget. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a large-scale wedding, my goal is to work with you to create something special, personal, and entirely yours.
If I choose mostly greenery for my wedding, would that help lower the cost?
Not always. Greenery-forward designs can be stunning and full of natural charm, but the overall cost depends more on the specific varieties, quantities, and design style than on whether a design contains more flowers or greenery. In fact, many popular greens such as Italian ruscus, eucalyptus, and smilax are often more expensive than certain seasonal blooms.
Booking & Logistics
When should I book my wedding florist ?
I recommend reaching out at least 6–7 months before your wedding date, and 9–12 months is even better, especially for peak spring and fall weekends in the Pacific Northwest. I take on a limited number of weddings each season to ensure that every client receives my full dedication.
Is there a deposit required to save the date ?
Yes. Once we agree on the Proposal and the Contract is signed, a 30% retainer is all that’s needed to officially reserve your wedding date and secure your place on my calendar. The remaining balance is due in full no later than three weeks before your wedding day.
Can I make changes after the Contract is signed ?
Absolutely. Wedding planning is a journey, and it’s natural for your vision to grow, change, and evolve along the way. Your floral Proposal is designed to be a living document – something we refine together as your ideas take shape. We simply ask that all final changes be submitted no later than three weeks before your wedding day. At that point, the updated Proposal becomes your invoice and no additional signatures are required.
What types of payment do you accept ?
We accept bank transfer (Zelle), check, and cash. Payment details are included in your Contract/Invoice. If you prefer another method, we’re happy to discuss options and make the process as smooth and convenient as possible.
Services & Design
Do you provide setup, breakdown, transfer, and/or pick-up services?
Yes, we offer all four, and we’re happy to customize whichever combination of services works best for your day. Setup, breakdown, and transfer are each quoted individually based on the scope and logistics of your event:
- Setup – shaped by installation complexity, venue access, timing, and number of floral elements
- Breakdown – based on the size of your order and level of cleanup required
- Transfers (e.g. moving ceremony florals to the reception) – quoted by distance, timing, and complexity
- Pick-up – all arrangements carefully packaged for safe and easy transportation
Any services you choose will be outlined and included in your customized floral Proposal.
Can I repurpose flowers from the ceremony to the reception ?
Yes, and it’s a wonderful way to get the most from your florals. The key is the design. When we know repurposing is part of your vision, we design your ceremony arrangements with the transition in mind, so they can move gracefully into your reception space – creating a beautifully cohesive experience from start to finish.
What design styles do you work in ?
With over 15 years of experience across Europe and North America – including training in France and working in North Carolina, Toronto, and now the Pacific Northwest, I’m equally at home with sophisticated and elegant arrangements, romantic garden-style designs, rustic and wild botanicals, and grand luxury installations. I adapt to your vision rather than fitting you into a single aesthetic.
What areas do you serve ?
I serve couples throughout Tacoma, Seattle, and the greater Pacific Northwest, including surrounding cities and counties in Washington State. I’m happy to travel for the right wedding – just mention your venue location when you reach out.
Do you offer consultations ?
Yes, and I always recommend a Zoom call once your initial Proposal is ready. It’s the best way to go through every detail together, make any adjustments, and make sure the design perfectly reflects your vision before we finalize everything.
Each wedding tells its own story, and I’d love to hear yours.
Reach out, and let’s create something beautiful together.
